The Production of Brunello is
limited in the only area of the Council of Montalcino,
a characteristic town in the south of Siena.
The name Montalcino is due to the country’s characteristics,
from Latin
mons + ilcinus for his mount
territory with holm-oaks forest.
The historical centre is particularly agreeable and it is formed from small alleys that may be particularly steep. This gives beautiful panoramic visual on the below valleys. Piazza del Popolo is the public square in the heart of Montalcino and it is easy to arrive in, because all the main city streets come here. When you arrive, you will find the Town-hall said also of the Priori: it’s a typical medieval palace that you can see in photo (for the moment !). But I would not give a wrong influence, so I will limit myself to essential and general information for each category.
